As a Campaign Manager one of the most powerful features Eloqua provides is the ability for Marketing to create dynamic landing pages and rich email assets. Eloqua makes it so we don’t have to wait on Creative & Development for the required campaign assets. We can build what we need and get the campaign out door eliminating potential bottlenecks.
Some Eloqua assets are not quite optimized for mobile yet. They’re constantly pushing updates, so I imagine this is something they’re in the midst of tackling.
Eloqua is not an “easy” product to use. It requires dedication and proper commitment to implement and utilize across the organization.

I have used Eloqua since 2005 and recently went through the upgrade from E9 to E10. At first I was a skeptic but I am really enjoying the additional functionality and the apps that are available through the cloud. My transition to the new version was simple and after 4 hours of training I was easily building emails and campaigns and pulling reporting. Some of the more advanced skills took me a bit longer to realize as there’s not as much training available for that but I can generally find documentation through their user site (Topliners) or if I request info from my account rep I always receive a response quickly with help.(more...)

Eloqua is a very robust tool that can be used by anyone in your marketing organization. Once you learn the philosophy behind marketing automation (most of us already have this) along with a couple training courses, the world is yours. Eloqua easily handles CRM integrations, nurture/drip campaigns, lead scoring, lead source tracking back to CRM’s, tracking digital body language, profiling and email sales tools, and builds emails, forms, landing pages, databases with easy to use editors with no HTML knowledge needed, among many other great things.
The best thing about Eloqua is the marketing community you become a part of. I have become a better marketer because of how involved and enthusiastic Eloqua customers are. With this, Eloqua events are priceless as you meet so many people who have solved the problems you are facing and willing to take the time to teach you.(more...)

Eloqua is currently focusing on transitioning from Eloqua 9 to 10. Keeping this in mind, they are doing a phenomenal job of helping their customers with the transition. Their user network, Topliners allows users to ask each other questions and gain understanding from peers in addition to the assistance from the Eloqua team. Also, Eloqua’s Road to Revenue tour provided users the opportunity to hear customer success stories and engage in small group presentations/discussions with members of the Eloqua team and attendees. The Eloqua team practices what they preach with their efforts to create a positive relationship with their customers and ensure users are getting the most benefit from Eloqua 10.(more...)

Eloqua10 is in the group of solutions that I have been reviewing with regard to Marketing Automation, and I really like what I’ve seen. Granted, I have not yet had a hands-on experience, but after seeing a product demo, many videos, and going through white papers, Eloqua certainly seems to have a rock-solid grip on their vision and execution. The platform is very complete from a functionality standpoint – including a strong RPM module, if this is important to your business – and I came away from my brief evaluation impressed. I cannot speak to pricing or ease of use, but the team members I spoke with were skilled and answered all of my questions.(more...)

Eloqua 10 is a phenomenal platform for advanced marketing automation initiatives. It has an excellent data segmentation engine that can be applied throughout the system for making intelligent lead scoring programs, nurture campaigns, contact washing machines, and auto-market programs. It’s new interface is slick and easy-to-use and is highly functional, making landing pages and emails quick to design and create. It’s growing list of apps, social integration, and open infrastructure is market-leading, and puts it far ahead of any competitive product I’ve seen.(more...)

Eloqua has provided us with a balance between strategy and execution. It has allowed us to be more efficient as a team, automate multiple manual processes, scale worldwide and given us a competitive advantage.
From a strategy standpoint, by assessing the metrics of every campaign, we are able to make better decisions as far as where to invest the budget to get the highest return. It’s all about revenue. We want to know how marketing contributes to revenue and how we can continue that to get the highest return. Our growth since implementing Eloqua has been phenomenal and faster than our competition. A percentage of this growth can be attributed to the strengthened pipeline from marketing’s lead generation and nurturing activities and the daily reporting and insights from Eloqua that we are providing to the field.
By partnering better with sales we can align with their goals and provide value. With Eloqua we have seen multiple wins because of the partnership.
Eloqua is a valuable component of the people, process, and technology that has made marketing and inside sales a lot more productive and has allowed us to create world-class demand generation programs. We are very impressed with the technology. There really is not much that you cannot do with Eloqua from a marketing standpoint – very powerful system. It delivers sophisticated marketing capabilities. The Lead Scoring capabilities are extremely flexible and can be mapped to almost any business requirements. I believe their Revenue Suite for revenue performance management is the next generation for marketing reporting and has given me a lot more insight into my programs – including ROI.

My company relies on Eloqua very heavily. We have it tightly integrated with SFDC and find the two products together to be extremely powerful. We manage well over 10,000 inbound leads per month and the technology helps us nurture and narrow in on the most qualified.(more...)
