Flexible but costly in resources and upgrades
Drupal is rich in function and can be customized to do almost anything. But the cost of that flexibility is a resource-intensive system that uses a lot of memory even for simple things like blogging. And every time there’s a major release of Drupal Core, it’s a huge/expensive project to upgrade if you’re using a lot of contributed modules. Design can also be an expensive proposition. For complex community sites Drupal has a lot going for it, but I wouldn’t recommend for simple blogging. Use Wordpress instead.
