    The Amazon VPC takes the complexity of setting up private networks to secure your internet infrastructure. Ombud uses the Amazon VPC to virtualize it’s network on the cloud in a secure environment. So far, we have found one feature missing: we are unable to use multicast broadcast within the VPC.

    Ombud uses EC2 to host all their computing needs. As a startup our needs change quickly and EC2 is able to scale to meet our rapid changes. We find the platform stable and consistent between systems. Performance is comparable to similar configurations.

    I have found that confluence is very powerful and offers many nice features. It takes a difference approach from other wiki servers. It takes out the ‘wiki’ language and make is easy to write and not worry about the code. It’s like using a word processor.
