CEO and Co-Founder
Prior to co-founding Ombud, Thad Eby was the
European Director of Business Development at Endeca Technologies
where he oversaw the firm's EMEA enterprise business. Mr. Eby was
responsible for defining and executing new market opportunities and
building a partner channel strategy that encompassed world-wide
sales. Prior to Endeca, Thad joined pre-revenue and pre-funding
social media startup, BuzzLogic where he was responsible for new
customer acquisition and the organization's first Fortune 500
enterprise roll-outs. At IBM, Thad built the IBM Master Data
Management Solutions organization that was chartered with delivering
new market vertical solutions for IBM's Information Management suite.
Mr. Eby joined IBM through the acquisition of Trigo Technologies
where he was an early member of the team and ran the Product
Solutions team. Thad holds a B.S. Magna Cum Laude from Kettering
University where he graduated as a President Medalist and Sobey
Scholar.
Executive Chairman and Co-Founder
In addition to serving as Ombud's Chairman, Tom
Reilly was most recently the head of the security information
software group for Hewlett Packard. Mr. Reilly joined HP through the
strategic acquisition of ArcSight in October 2010. Tom served
ArcSight as Chief Executive Officer since October 2008, as its
President since August 2007 and as a director since June 2008. Mr.
Reilly served as ArcSight's Chief Operating Officer from November
2006 to September 2008 where he executed a successful IPO in the
winter of 2008. From April 2004 to November 2006, Mr.Reilly served as
Vice President of Business Information Services of IBM, a
multinational computer, technology, and IT consulting corporation.
From November 2000 until its acquisition in April 2004 by IBM, Mr.
Reilly served as Chief Executive Officer of Trigo Technologies, Inc.,
a product information management software company. He holds a B.S. in
mechanical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
VP of Customer and Co-Founder
Brenda Harms is responsible for identifying
features and content that empower a successful Ombud Community.
Before co-founding Ombud, Brenda provided analytic support to the
U.S. military and its allies. She has been assigned to installations
around the world through Northrop Grumman, Group W., Inc. and Applied
Research Associates. Brenda also served on the NATO civilian staff,
responsible for designing and executing a strategic assessment for
the International Security Assistance Force's Afghanistan mission.
Brenda holds a B.S. in Industrial and Management Engineering from
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a M.S. in Management Science
from Lehigh University.
Director of Product
Tim Myers is passionate about making Ombud a great web product, applying his skill set at multiple levels from planning to design and implementation. Prior to joining the Ombud team, Tim was Director of Development at Copper Services where he built two web-based products and lead the production of several features from idea to conception. In Washington, he started Dodge Ball Designs. Tim partnered with marketing and design agencies to launch web-based projects that exceeded the agencies’ expertise. When he’s not immersed in brainstorming and developing new functionality for Ombud, Tim most enjoys spending time with his growing family, home brewing, BBQing and running. Tim holds a B.S. in Economics from UT Dallas.
Marketing
Stephanie Wise is responsible for the execution
of Ombud's social media activities, engaging with the online
community in an effort to add a valuable voice to their discussions.
She recently relocated to Colorado from the Chicago area. Colorado is
a perfect fit for Stephanie whose hobbies include mountain biking,
snowboarding, photography and barefoot running. Stephanie graduated
summa cum laude from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of
Science in Journalism. In addition to her full-time role at Ombud,
Stephanie assists the Naked Foot 5K with publicity and dedicates her
Monday nights to Minds Matter as the Junior Class Team Lead.
Operations
Katie McReynolds is the Operations Associate at Ombud and is responsible for recruiting, customer service, and office management. Katie graduated from The University of Colorado with degrees in finance, entrepreneurial studies and Chinese. She has worked for several start-ups in Boulder, CO. Katie enjoys rock climbing, skiing, and cooking.
Developer
Andrew graduated from Colorado School of Mines with a B.S. in Computer Science. Prior to joining the Ombud development team, Andrew designed and implemented a video mashup app for Disney Online Studios.
Developer
Kira Quan attends the University of Colorado-Boulder. She is studying Computer Science and plans to graduate in 2013. As a Colorado native, she enjoys camping, backpacking, climbing, hiking, and all of the other great outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer. When she's not working at Ombud or enjoying the sunny Colorado weather, she volunteers as a tutor for elementary school students.
